"Impossible tasks, rediculous guidelines, obsurd deadlines. Welcome to architecture ladies."

This is what Clint said to us as he was explaining that the boss man told him that we were running out of room, and needed to find a solution to compact all the files. Well we started out with all the boxes that we had emptied (and some sticky notes), but then there were no boxes. This became our first "project". There was a wooden crate and a few of the tops of boxes that we hadn't used and I came up with the idea of making a big "box" out of those. With a whole bunch of packing tape and a little frustration, Hannah and I eventually made the "box" (which worked wonderfully, if I do say so myself).
This week I learned a lot by going through the files, which weren't very many because I spent so much time on a few that completely amazed me. I learned about a lot of the drawings that have to be made, such as ceiling plans, electrical plans, floor plans, ect., that go into making a building be functional and sustainable. I found out that even though the architect has to draw the elevations, they sometimes take pictures of them as well. They can even get bored and start sketching, but not what they are supposed to...
